With Unidisc 40, the past and future meet in a special 40th anniversary package to celebrate one of the most revered music labels in history. Throughout 2023, the label will be unveiling a collection of remixes of Unidisc's greatest hits, with an all-star cast of modern day producers to equal Unidisc's eighties roster.
A-Trak and Wev join Unidisc Music Inc to release an upbeat remix of Gonna Get Over You by Montreal’s very own France Joli. This track contains a progressive style of production, it starts with a light catchy drum pattern and slowly builds up by introducing new layers one by one as the song goes on. Sprinkled with numerous sample chops, a strong synth bassline and intense beat drops, the classic song gets a modern house feel.
